The available lengths of the bipolar forceps range from 70 mm to 300 mm and are available with a tip width of 0.25 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.6 mm, 1.0 mm and 2.0 mm. The Micromed bipolar forceps are compatible with all electrosurgical devices. The bipolar forceps require less power than the monopolar forceps, which means that the tissue is less damaged during coagulation. The bipolar technique is gentler and safer.
